    HTML and Dreamweaver for Beginners

HTML and Dreamweaver for Beginners is a video tutorial which teaches the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.  The series is a 3 part video tutorial aimed at taking the beginner to a comfortable level in editing their site on their own.  Though the site looks simple, all the elements in creating the site page will be covered, the demo video shows an example tutorial of the introduction. I was very impressed that the presenter started with the user using notepad. Learning how to "hand code"   HTML in notepad is a crucial step in learning web development. We walk before we run.  The presenter is well spoken, and knows what he is talking about. There are obvious links for support and contacting the author.  The Author also sells Advanced Link Building and SEO videos as well as a Guide to mastering PHP.  Overall, a great site and guide for the money -as video is one of the better ways to learn how to program, practice is best.

Spice up Your Site With Simple PHP

      Simple PHP

Learning how to script your websites with PHP can save you countless hours and money. Constantly relying on freelancers is a costly venture to say the least. PHP is easy to learn, and is quickly becoming one of the most widly used programming languages on the web.

This book is fun! Instead of taking a drab "textbook-style" approach to the language where you might have to get yourself halfway through the darned book just to create something interesting you start taking in useful info on chapter one, page one .
