TidySongs. Free Download OS X, Windows XP + Vista

TidySongs is an easy to use Adobe Air App that will correct any missing or misspelled song details, add album artwork, remove duplicate songs and organize your music. It works with iTunes and it's own database to correct your entire iTunes Library. Make your music look good. TidySongs downloads high resolution album artwork from Amazon for all of your songs so that it displays on your computer, in iTunes and on your iPod, iPhone, TV or other music player.

TidySongs has a duplicate song remover that searches your song library to find duplicates - even duplicates that are mis-spelled. Use the options to choose to keep the songs with the higher bitrate or longer length. Simulation mode allows you to test things without accidentally removing songs you want to keep.

We tested the trial version of TidySongs against 300 mp3's in our iTunes library. The Trial version allows up to 100 corrections so you have a good feeling about how the software works. The user interface is clean and we are fans of Adobe Air applications.

Working through our playlist it was able to find album art, and correct titles mostly within 75-99% confidence. The feature we enjoyed the most was having TidySongs remap our Genres to what we wanted them to be. (It's all Rock to us). We personally know that fixing all the song information by hand is a lesson in futility, and this piece of software is indesipnsible to the avid iTunes user.

Personally I have had some great results with the program. Mainly used it for removing duplicates from my library which it absolutely flew through. I would definitely recommend this product.

I just purchased the program for the full $39.99. I need to get thru my libary this weekend but the program is telling me I haven\’t bought it yet. I have the purchase code, what do I need to do?
